Solar Surfer [Mini Fluke] swimmable mermaid tail

While some ocean-dwellers may prefer the depths, others are enamoured by the bright world above. Brave of heart and adventurous of spirit, these mer love to cruise the surface along sunny tropical coasts.

The Mini Fluke version of this tail has the exact same painstaking design and fabric quality as its corresponding Signature counterpart, but features a significantly smaller fluke that generates less drag and creates a more compact profile. New mers and mers who prefer a less dramatic silhouette may find this more suitable. Do note, however, that the smaller fluke means that this version accommodates a much more limited variety of monofins compared to our Signature line.

Our mermaid tails are made from durable and stretchy SCR fabric for your ease of use and comfort. Our new fabric is extra stretchy, and features comparatively vivid colours as well as improvements to the print such as more detailed fluke textures and a stronger 3D visual effect on the scales.

All our tails feature our signature open-fluke design, with the monofin inserted from the bottom of the fluke. Color-matched snaps hold the opening closed after monofin insertion, preventing gaping during swimming while still allowing ample openings for water to pass through. You'll never have to struggle with difficult zippers or excessive drag in the water again! Due to the design allowing smooth insertion of monofins footpocket-first instead of having to be squeezed in sideways, getting your tail ready for a swim is always easy and fuss-free.

NOTE: Our Mini Fluke tails currently do NOT come with vinyl inserts, and are not compatible with the insert used with our Signature series.

Please note that mermaid tail skins are for strong swimmers adept at the dolphin kick only. Please exercise all necessary safety precautions when using these tails, including but not limited to: swimming with a buddy, using the tail only in water conditions you are familiar and comfortable with, and making sure you are able to remove the tail quickly in an emergency.
